Ready to roll out.
Arches in El Malpais National Monument, west of Albuequerque.
This was supposed to be a paved road from Cuba, NM, east across the volcano. I got about a dozen miles into it before hitting 3" deep sand, and turning around.
Back to real roads
The volcano crater. Very nice.
There was something special about this place; just north of Albuquerque. Good energy.
Coming into Taos; putting on the rain gear.
Red River Motel.
The rivers here have water in them.
Red River, NM, was a charming little town.
This is where they hold the lottery.
The motel looked better from the outside.
The Estes Park Best Western was much nicer.
The nicest Best Western I've ever stayed at (Estes Park, CO).
Rocky Mountain National Park.
Early morning in RMNP.
Above the treeline.
